Final Project/Syllabus Update

Last week on 4/17, Richland College closed and our class was canceled. As a result of this, we are set back a week and will have one less class. This being the situation, I do not think it is reasonable to require a “rough cut” for your final project. Instead, I only expect your final project (project 3- compositing) to be turned in at the beginning of the last day of class. The rough-cut was supposed to be worth 10 points (or 10% of your final grade). As your benevolent professor, I have decided to award each of you these points. The final project will still be worth 20 points (or 20% of your final grade), but each of you will automatically accrue the 10 points for the rough-cut.
Additionally, we were supposed to have read Image Future by Lev Manovich by today (4/24). I am pushing this back to next week (5/1). You can find the article here:
